Why did we create This Is Me Boutique?
If you are looking for a better night’s sleep, want to improve your mental health and overall emotional well-being, or are just looking for something snuggly to cuddle up in, the answer is simple. We created This Is Me Boutique, especially for you!
This Is Me Boutique was created by women, for women. Because we understand that it is the little things in life that make such a huge difference in your daily life. Little things like relaxing at the end of a long day in a soft, comfy dressing gown. The feel of perfectly fitted pyjamas on your skin as you get into bed. The comfort of curling up on the sofa in an oversized hoodie that feels just like you are wrapped up in your duvet. Keeping yourself toasty in bed on a cold night with a hot water bottle, whilst the aroma of lavender and soothing music helps you drift into a deep, restful sleep.
When things like this are so important to healthy mental health and the improvement in your overall sense of well-being, you want to make sure you are getting the best for your mind, body and soul. At This Is Me Boutique, we take this so seriously that you will only find products that have been tried and tested by like-minded women, i.e. us. What makes us like-minded? Well, within our team we have people who have experienced (or are experiencing!) menopause, those who struggle with sleep, those who have mental health issues and those who just love nothing better than snuggling up in something cosy at the end of the day. It is from these personal experiences that we decided to create a haven for women where they can buy products that will truly help them relax, reinvigorate and revive themselves, ready for whatever life throws at them next.
What makes This Is Me Boutique unique?
One of the challenges we found when searching for products to help us feel better about ourselves, get better sleep or just generally relax, was so many brands didn’t cater to us…the everyday woman. After all, as women, we come in all different shapes and sizes (which is what makes us so great, obviously!). We found that shopping for products that truly matched our needs and wants could be a chore. So when we created This Is Me Boutique, we promised ourselves that we would ALWAYS sell products that incorporated EVERY woman. This would not just apply to age and size, but also mood. Imagine a place where you could buy products that even match your current mood! It is this approach that makes This Is Me Boutique so unique.
To combat the additional challenges you often find with major retailers, This Is Me Boutique has decided to do things a little differently. Instead of the usual unrealistically slender models you see on most retailers’ websites, we only use real women with real stories. In fact, some of our very own This Is Me Boutique team have braved the camera to model our products on the site!
Another bugbear we found when shopping online, especially for comfy pyjamas, was the inconsistency in sizing. Size 16 pyjamas from one retailer could be vastly different to size 16 pyjamas from another. At This Is Me Boutique, we have created a realistic size chart based on the feedback from our team, plus our friends and family.
As mentioned earlier, we always try any sleepwear ourselves before selling the product line to our customers, and if we don’t think they match our high standards of comfort, we won’t sell them. Simple!
This Is Me Boutique is not just for us, it is for you!
We created This Is Me Boutique out of a desire to help our fellow women feel better about themselves, get better sleep and generally be more positive about life. Our vision is to grow into the go-to brand for women everywhere for any home or lifestyle product that can help achieve this. And we cannot do that without you, our valued customers. We can only successfully grow with your help, so any feedback on our products, or suggestions for products that you feel could make a positive impact on the lives of other women will be greatly appreciated.
